I enrolled my son here in Paref Rosefield School near Tomas Morato, Quezon City for his pre-school because I know the quality of teaching that all Paref schools give (I used to live in the south and the Paref schools there are highly regarded for their excellent education and values). Paref is considered a combination of both traditional and progressive school. The patience and passion of all the staff there are highly commendable. My son started nursery with them at 3 yrs of age and I was really amazed at their skill and patience in handling new kids adjusting to being separated from their moms for school. My son graduated from Senior Kinder just this year and he has been reading well since he was in Junior Kinder. (Paref Rosefield has Toddler class, Nursery, Junior Kinder and Senior Kinder) Also, the priority concern for me in choosing a good pre-school for my son is the values that they teach. Paref is not a catholic school but it is founded by an Opus Dei which reflects the good values that they teach to the kids which is precisely the very same values that we teach our kids at home. Here in Paref school, they closely see to it that the values are implanted to the kids as they grow and move on to a big school. And I'm proud to say that all of my son's batchmates were able to be accepted in the big schools that they desire (meaning 100% passing) like Ateneo, La Salle, Merriam, Xavier, ICA, STC, Holy Spirit, etc. So, if you're in the QC area or near its vicinity and still scouting for an excellent pre-school for your kids, try to drop by Paref Rosefield School. It's near Tomas Morato (landmark is Kimono Ken, that's the corner of Scout Fuentebella Street already). My son's schoolmates come from not only the QC area but as far as Malabon, Batasan and Pasig. They allow sit-ins if you're not yet sure if your kid will like it. And they also allow late enrollees. My son had a classmate then that came in at October already but that kid didn't have a hard time catching up with the lessons. He even excelled. So, don't be so pressured if you haven't found the school you prefer yet. It's not yet too late. Paref Rosefield staff are very friendly and they encourage a system of Parent-school collaboration for the best learning environment for our bright kids. I personally commend Teachers Niña, Apples and Grace and all of the teacher aides who were very instrumental in my son's pre-school years. He is a very smart and happy kid who loves learning very much. Thanks to Paref, my son's foundation in his pre-school years were guided excellently.
